I’m a Green Arrow fan. I’ve been reading the series consistently for about a decade, stretching back to Kevin Smith’s post-“Quiver” story arc. I’ve collected and read every issue of the previous series (which started with Mike Grell’s outstanding take on the character and continued with Chuck…
If you’re a DC Comics fan and you haven’t seen this yet, you should really check it out. Great concept, and some really cool artwork. I’d definitely read a bunch of these titles.
These gorgeous prints arrived in the mail Friday and I had to share. They are both the work of Moose Baumann, a colourist who has worked on some of my favourite DC titles.
I recently learned that Moose’s wife has cancer. Their medical bills have gotten to be more than they can afford, so Moose has started selling prints of comic book art he coloured to raise money. The prints are only $20 each, which includes shipping (within the U.S.). I ordered these two prints, and some friends and family have ordered more at my request as graduation presents.
If you would like to help Moose by buying a print, check out the gallery at http://img24.imageshack.us/g/countdowncvr50copy.jpg/. Then email Moose (moosebaumann@mediacombb.net) and tell him which print you’d like (send him a link to the specific image) and what address to ship to. Send $20 per print to his PayPal account (same email as above).
There’s some really beautiful artwork available, and the money will help out someone who is a part of the comic community, so if you can afford $20 please order a print.
damn these dont disappoint. check it out you guise.
