I hated most of it. Mostly because once again we’re being asked to forget recent history, to forget Ollie’s family and start caring for a guy named Jax who’s hairstyle traveled straight from a 90’s British pop band. That’s something that none of us are prepared to do because oliver’s family is the most fascinating part about him.
I’m not sure where this new series is going but what I am sure of is that we’re not gonna get what we want, not now and possibly not ever so for I’m taking what we can get. My expectations are pretty low really so I won’t be that dissapointed when it gets inevitably cancelled in a year.
I bet none of us expected to be longing for the days of Kreisberg’s Green Arrow/Black Canary huh.

Continued: (yes, I admit I enjoyed Winick’s run. He may have packed it too full of side characters, but at least it showed them loving each other and having fun. It was the hard-travelling heroes, but the travels seemed lighter :) )
